Cognitive ability assessment prompt users to answer questions relating to a variety of areas. The results of which are used to predict a candidate's future aptitude for a position. This is not an intelligence test but instead a form of assessment to establish an individual's general mental ability.
There are critics of these psychometric tests. A key argument being that, these tests fail to address cultural biases. Furthermore, through combining multiple skills into a single test score can present an innacurate and unfair overview of an individual's abilities.
